Fresh water reserves continue to decline in America's arid west. Meanwhile, Minnesota has one of the densest populations of fresh water bodies in the world. Engineers and politicians have long imagined a feat to connect these regions, to balance the reserve. In Limno Loqui ("lake speak"), Nicholas Bauch plays a waterphone instrument loaded with hand-gathered Minnesota lake water to listen to what the lakes have to say about this proposition.
